PM Kisan 20th Installment Likely by June-End: How Farmers Can Get Rs 2,000

Millions of farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The government-backed initiative provides Rs 6,000 in annual income support, disbursed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months via direct benefit transfer (DBT).
According to media reports, the 20th installment is expected to be released by the end of June 2025, although the government has not issued any official confirmation on the exact date and time.
Who is Eligible and How to Apply?
Farmers from all states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand can avail the benefit by registering through the official PM Kisan portal (https://pmkisan.gov.in) or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
Applicants must provide key details such as:
- Full name and date of birth
- Aadhaar number
- Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
- Bank account details
Once enrolled, e-KYC is mandatory to receive payments. Beneficiaries can complete it online using OTP or via biometric verification at CSCs.

- Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on the ‘e-KYC’ tab
- Enter Aadhaar number and click ‘Search’
- Submit the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile
How to Check PM Kisan Beneficiary Status
To confirm whether your name is on the list for the 20th installment:
- Go to the PM Kisan portal
- Click on ‘Beneficiary List Status’ under the Farmers Corner section
- Select your State, District, Sub-District, Block, and Village
- Click ‘Get Report’ to view your status
Past Disbursement
The 19th installment, credited on February 24, 2025, benefited over 9.8 crore farmers. With the next release approaching, farmers are advised to complete their e-KYC process to ensure timely disbursal.
