Capillary Technologies Files DRHP With SEBI for Rs 430 Crore IPO

Capillary Technologies India Ltd, a Bengaluru-based provider of AI-powered SaaS solutions, has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 430 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 18.33 million shares by existing shareholders. The face value of each share is Rs 2.

Promoter Capillary Technologies International Pte Ltd will offload up to 1.4 million equity shares in the OFS. Other investors participating in the OFS include Ronal Holdings, Trudy Holdings, Filter Capital, and several individuals such as Sripathi Venkata Ramana Reddy, Harminder Sahni, and Adarsh Reddy B.

As per the DRHP, the company plans to utilise:

  • Rs 120 crore for cloud infrastructure costs
  • Rs 151.54 crore for R&D and product development
  • Rs 10.32 crore for purchase of IT systems
  • The remaining funds for strategic acquisitions and general corporate purposes

JM Financial, IIFL Capital, and Nomura Financial Advisory are the book-running lead managers. MUFG Intime India is the registrar to the issue.
