ITC Q4 Results 2025: Net Profit at ₹19,807 Crore on Exceptional Gain

ITC Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of ₹19,807 crore for the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4FY25), significantly boosted by an exceptional gain of ₹15,145 crore. This one-time gain stemmed from the demerger of its Hotels Business into the newly created ITC Hotels Limited, and was accounted for under discontinued operations.

Excluding the exceptional item, the adjusted net profit stood at ₹4,662 crore, lower than the ₹5,190 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.

The diversified conglomerate posted a 10% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations, which rose to ₹20,376 crore in Q4FY25 from ₹18,561 crore a year earlier, surpassing market expectations.

Operating profit (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at ₹6,836 crore, reflecting a modest rise of 3.7% from ₹6,590 crore in Q4FY24.

However, the EBITDA margin contracted to 33.5% from 35.8% in the corresponding quarter last year.

The Board of Directors also declared a final dividend of ₹7.85 per share.

Segment Highlights

    • FMCG Segment: Revenue rose to ₹14,732 crore from ₹13,996 crore YoY.
    • Cigarettes: ₹9,228.66 crore (vs ₹8,688.92 crore)
    • FMCG-Others: ₹5,503.33 crore (vs ₹5,307.94 crore)
    • Agri Business: ₹3,694.64 crore, up from ₹3,136.43 crore
  • Paperboards, Paper & Packaging: ₹2,188.69 crore (vs ₹2,072.86 crore)

The company’s broad-based portfolio and steady gains in its non-cigarette FMCG segments continue to support long-term growth despite margin headwinds.
