Arohan Financial Services Limited has appointed Arvind Murarka as its Chief Information Officer, marking his return to the NBFC microfinance institution. In his new role, Murarka will lead the company’s IT function and drive its technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
Murarka brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, with a strong track record in large-scale digital transformation, technology modernisation, and aligning IT strategy with business growth objectives. He is widely regarded for his expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency within financial services.
During his earlier stint at Arohan Financial Services, Murarka played a pivotal role in the organisation’s end-to-end digital transformation journey. His work included setting up IT governance frameworks aligned with RBI requirements, implementing core technology platforms, strengthening cybersecurity and risk management systems, and deploying automation initiatives that improved efficiency and optimised costs.

Before rejoining Arohan, Murarka served as Chief Information Officer at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, where he led enterprise-wide IT transformation efforts for the listed microfinance lender.
Commenting on the appointment, Arohan’s leadership said Murarka’s return brings valuable institutional knowledge and strategic depth. The company expects his experience and execution capabilities to further strengthen its technology foundation and support long-term growth, innovation, and digital resilience.
