Ganesh Baliga Appointed Managing Director of Citi India Solutions
Citi has announced the appointment of Ganesh Baliga as the new Managing Director and Head of Citi India Solutions. In this role, Baliga will lead the bank’s technology and operations centres in India, which play a key role in Citi’s global business strategy.
He brings with him deep experience in managing large-scale technology teams and leading digital transformation initiatives. Prior to this, Baliga served as Senior Vice President in London, where he handled fund services technology for EMEA and alternative investments. He has also worked as Global Program Manager for transformation projects at Citi.

Baliga holds certifications in project and change management and has completed advanced programmes in data science and fintech from Purdue University and the University of Pennsylvania. These skills position him well to support Citi’s focus on innovation, data security, and digital banking.

As the new Head of Citi India Solutions, he will focus on strengthening operations, boosting digital innovation, and building future-ready teams in cities like Pune, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
